K-20 怪人二十面相・伝 (K-20: Kaijin Niju-Menso)
In Fictional capital city Teito where aristocrats continue to thrive since the 19th century, there is a wide gap between rich and poor. However, there are rumours of a mysterious thief who only steals from the rich and also in incredible ways. People call him K-20, short for Kaijin Niju-Menso.
Thoroughly enjoyed the movie! Takeshi Kaneshiro (金城 武) is the lead actor and he was pretty entertaining throughout the entire movie. =) He's acting here is much better than in Warlords where he seems "woody" when compared with Jet Li and Andy Lau.
I like the lead actress too - Takako Matsu (松たか子). She acted in the popular japanese serial "HERO" too.

Yes Man
Funny movie by Jim Carrey. Enjoyed it coz it's not too much slapstick like what you'd expect from a Jim Carrey show. =)
Here's what Jim's take about the message of Yes Man. "I think it's not only a funny movie, but I think you really believe the love story and the friendships and so I think there's a lot to walk away with. But I guess the only thing is if there is a message, it's just engage in life. You know, say yes more than you do no, maybe a little bit more than you did before, and life kind of turns out all right. Usually you regret the things you say no to."
Personally, I AGREE with him about the being "engaged in life". However, i think saying YES or NO is alright, just don't regret it later on. Sometimes it's hard to say NO to someone, so you say YES just to please that someone.. and you end up being miserable/awkward/ upset.. if that's the case, then it's not worth it.
