Hmmm... this "walking mannequin" thingy has been happening to me quite regularly... and i'm beginning to wonder if it happens to me only? It happened to me more regularly when i'm travelling and shopping around the shopping districts. It happened in UK, in Australia, in Tokyo, in Vietnam, and even in S'pore! I'd be casually browsing around the store, and i'll get a request by strangers to wear an item (dress, jacket, top, house robe, etc), so that they can guage if the item would the wife/daughter/granddaughter who is about the same build as me.
One bizzare case was actually @ Warehouse store in S'pore: this lady was undecided between 2 bracelets, and asked for my opinion which should she buy (and she's trying to limit her shopping quota to only ONE bracelet). After giving her my opinion, i continued to shop around, and 10 mins later she came back to me (even tho' there were other shoppers around!) and insisted that i wear the 2 bracelets and let her better visualize the effects.. and then alas! she still couldn't make up her mind, and then she decided to engage the opinion of another shopper (with me still wearing the bracelets) *pengz* I was so thankful when my phone rang and i hurriedly took off the bracelets, and apologizing that i need to go for my dinner appointment. *phew*
