Popcorn Combo: Quantum of Solace

Quantum of Solace
For once, Agent 007 didn't do any fast speed chasing in his flashy Aston Martin. I guess, those who rated the movie thumbs down probably coz there were not enough fancy gadgets to impress. Other than the hi-tech computer systems and his impressive Sony Ericsson, there's no other boy toys. :P This time round, it's more about emotions and finding who you can Trust. For once, he didn't bonk the lead actress. :P Personally, i find this instalment okay and watchable. :)
Was yakking in the VW/Audi car forum, and found out from one of the James Bond fans that this movie is actually the follow up of Casino Royale, and the reason why Bond is more human as compare to all the older titles is because Casino Royale is the very 1st title Ian Fleming wrote and it's about how Bond became the Bond we knew of today and why he cannot, or should we say afraid to commit in a relationship. Actually, there are only 12 novels and 1 short story collections (a second collection was published posthumously) ever written by Ian Fleming himself.
1953 Casino Royale
1954 Live and Let Die
1955 Moonraker
1956 Diamonds Are Forever
1957 From Russia with Love
1958 Dr. No
1959 Goldfinger
1960 For Your Eyes Only - short stories
1961 Thunderball
1962 The Spy Who Loved Me
1963 On Her Majesty's Secret Service
1964 You Only Live Twice
1965 The Man with the Golden Gun
1966 Octopussy and The Living Daylights - short stories
