Superb Streetracing at Stupefying Speed in Singapore

Singapore just added another "World's 1st" to its collection -- World's 1st F1 Grand Prix Night Race.
Have always feel that F1 is an extravagant sport wasting high-octane petrol and burning expensive rubber. Could never appreciate the excitement when fren went ga-ga celebrating Michael Schumacher's crash. All the discussions about team strategy for each race, etc juz flew past over my head. Only vaguely remember some of the familar names like K.Räikkönen, L.Hamilton, D.Coulthard, F.Alonso, M.Häkkinen, F.Massa, etc. Thot it's a Boring game with the deafening roar of the race cars going round and round the circuit.
Was pleasantly surprised that i was actually glued to the TV set with all those drama throughout the race! :Pp The race was full of surprises, and the supposedly obvious favorites did not win.
Our Prime Minister was brimming with pride last evening with the success of the event. Kudos to the organizers and their staff. Can see all the effort from all fronts making sure that hiccups are minimized. Well Done! :)
