*Droolz*I find these sweet, chewy, colorful macarons irresistible... :P They come in various variety of flavors as you can see in the Mad Baker's blog.
The other day, was having cakes after lunch @ Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie (Paragon basement)... a lil' gal took a long time to decide which colors she want with the S$5 her mummy gave her.
The amused counter staff had fun entertaining her frequent changes in order. :)My favorite is the pretty Ispahan macaron with the bits of lychee together with the raspberries in the filling between the chewy biscuits. Yumz.. : )
Here's a series of "all about macarons" by another blogger Serious Eats.

Looks simply to good to eat. Never try one yet.
Yeah, i also thot these colorful stuff too pretty to eat... always thot they're more for display than to enjoy as a dessert... until i was having Hi-Tea @ Mandarin Hotel's revolving restaurant. The spread was a English & French Hi-tea combo. I was curious why the kidz were so excited with those petite macarons and decided to try some myself. I was hooked since then... :P
The macarons by Bakerzin and obolo are really good too! But sooo expensive. My son can eat three at a go.
