Throwing Money Down the Drain

Definitely NOT a fan of Bowling.
Still don't understand the logic of paying monies hitting at 10 stationary pins down the aisle with a 9-pound ball... What's so Exciting and Challenging about that?! It's literally throwing monies down the drain when the ball keeps going into the drain left, and right half the time. @#$%!^

In the name of Team Spirit, i had to participate in the mini-tournament last year... albeit reluctantly... coz someone got back problem and couldn't play that day. After a few rounds in the 1st game, i broke my nails.... and i was a lil' bit bimbotic (sort of), making a big hooha about my broken nails and going around looking for nail clipper... and ended up with a trophy for being the "Best Sport" coz my boss felt bad.. hehe.. :Pp I like the cute trophy. : )

Anywayz, it seems like bowling seem to be a convenient sport to get groups of people of all ages together. I guess that's why everytime we get people to organize some events to build/foster group camaraderie... Bowling inevitably pops up as one of the suggestions. Actually, it's kinda fun when you have a bunch of jokers in the group fooling around. :P

Had yet another mini-bowling tournament again last friday.. and i broke my nails again... and my right arm is still aching... bummer...

Oh! bowling is the thing here in Mid West America.

you even have to put on special ugly shoes that someone else has worn before you just so you can bowl. why??

Well, i just thot the bowlers have a weird sense of color coordination. :P
I think we hafta wear proper shoes to protect the flooring, and i think the soles of the bowling shoes help prevent slipping.

Same logic why we wear specific sports shoes when playing golf, tennis, squash, soccer, running. :)
