Back to Civilization

It's been a month since i moved back to the civilization (i.e. CBD) after spending 2yrs in the ultra ulu corner of S'pore.
Hafta get used to the daily commute 'squeeze like sardines' train rides. :/
With my home just a short walk from the mrt, and the office right above the mrt, really couldn't find any logic to drive to work with the exhorbitant ERP charges & Parking charges, and most importantly the stressful start-stop driving on CTE to & fro.
... kinda miss the daily cruise along PIE at dawn.. which can be therapeutic, starting the day with half an hour meditating with the gospel songs on stereo. :)
... i've also just realized the for the past 2 yrs, the heels that i've been buying were getting higher. My feet were cramping by the end of the day after the long period of standing and walking!! *bleah* Gotta buy new working shoes again.. :P
... but getting my daily dose of starbucks and McD's is definitely a welcomed change! =)
