Chinese Lesson Today

The Chinese explain the Art of Listening concisely in just ONE word.
If you break down the character into components:
王 : the King humbling himself (not judging)
耳 : using his ears
十 : Complete
目 : Eyes/ Attention
一 : with One/ Single
心 : Heart
...includes the elements: ear, eye, undivided attention, and heart.
We need to listen to each other carefully and also need to observe non-verbal behaviors that reveal what words may not.... facial expressions, eye contact, gestures, use of touch and other aspects of body language construe perhaps 75–80% of the "communication iceberg."
another catch-phrase for the day:
The Chinese have an equivalent phrase for "Sugercoating" = " 糖衣炮弹"

That's the beautiful thing about chinese - every word can actually be broken down for its meanings. But how do you pronounce the word??
