It's a Small Small World!!

How small can the world get??!!!

The BMW driver whom i mistakenly identified as the one who bumped into my car on a rainy november afternoon... turns out to be a property agent for a couple of my colleagues. And she was actually ferrying one of my overseas colleague who was in town to shop for investment properties that day!! *faintz*

On a rainy/drizzling november afternoon, i was waiting at the IsetanScotts-WheelockPlace junction to turn left to Scotts Road. It was heavy traffic and all the cars were waiting at the junction when i felt a mild jolt. Came down to inspect the car. The lady driver did not bother to come down and merely stared at me. I thot at most it would be merely be some scratches from the BMW's carplate that can be easily buffed off. So i went back to my car and drove off when the traffic light turned green shortly. i only managed to catch SJC8**** when i came down to inspect the bumper. But managed to catch a better view when the black BMW eventually moved in front of me along Stvens Road. So, managed to remember the full carplate #.

After the scary stories told by my workshop.. i filed a claim against that BMW driver... but not 100% sure that i got the right car owner/driver.

Thot my chances of getting the right car owner when SHE finally called me back yesterday to clarify (her insurer notified her of my claim). What's the chances of filling up that last 4 **** turns out to be a female driver.. so very likely that it's that culprit, right?

Met up with her this afternoon... to check the condition of both cars. Judging from the dents and scratches from my bumper, her carplate should have sustained some scratches too. There was barely any scratches on her carplate. Ended up apologizing to her for causing her grief and stress over the past few days when she received notification from her insurer.

And as we were chatting, she was curious about the location of my workplace and office hours... and when i told her the company name, she smiled and commented that it REALLY is a SMALL World!! She was actually ferrying one of my overseas colleague who was in town to shop for some investment properties on that 'fateful' day. And in fact she's a close fren of the wife of one of my colleagues, and has been the property agent for several people in my Company!!
