Watched both parts 1 & 2. Now, i've got slightly better aquainted with the famous characters in the ancient Three Kingdoms period... particularly Zhuge Liang (诸葛亮). He's always portrayed as an exceptional military strategist and a multi-talented man. He seems very knowledgeable about everything and anything! In the movie, he even helped the mother horse through a difficult delivery; could predict the weather (even better than our meteological centre), and well versed in medical science and Fengshui!! The movie was beautifully made, and made the audience impressed with the brilliant military tactics.
I think i really should go kinokuniya and check out the comic versions of The Art of War and also the Three Kingdoms era... figured that this would be more readable than those Chinese classic format. :P
... not exactly a fanatic fan... but have been aware of the existence of this marvel comic series since school days. The guys would eagerly wait for each new instalment, and would carefully put the comic back into the original wrapper after reading. Didn't understand why such obsession then. :P Got hooked on X-Men because of Wolverine a.k.a. Hugh Jackman (actually). ;p This latest instalment of the movie tries to give a perspective of the origins, and why Wolverine became such a character... i enjoyed the movie, tho' there are many flaws in the sotryline when you are an x-men fanatic. *Shrugz*
p.s. remember to sit thru' the entire movie until the credit rolling ended... for the akan datang trailers ;-)
