What's in store for 2008?

Many Many years ago, when i was young and naive, and eager to find out what's in store for me in the future, i accompanied my good fren to a couple of fortune tellers to find out more about our future... we were curious to know "when we would get married? How many kids? Would we be successful in our careers? Would we live a life of luxury? or Do we hafta slog for the rest of our lives?, etc, etc" The things we learnt or foretold by these fortune tellers.. 1. Freaked us out, coz they also tell you things that you don't want to know; and 2. Most of the things they said were usually in ambiguous terms that could be intepreted both ways; and 3. Things that they said would happen, didn't happen when things come to past..
However, I still read those receive junk mails from frens on what's in store for my horoscope/zodiac sign in the new year... and i'd also check out those astrology sites to read what's in store for my sign in 2008. :P
It's more for entertainment as most of the time, as the things that these sites/articles write about are always revolving the same issues.. and those specific things that were mentioned, also didn't happen leh...

Anyway, i'll decide what's in store for me this year in 2008... (those that's within my control) and the rest, i'll leave it to Him... in His Time, in His Way. ;-)

1. Look for new employment opportunities ..and be Smarter in choosing where i'm gonna work

2. Focus on 2Corinthians ..start new notebook, and take notes when pastor preaching the sermon. Already memorized 2cor5:7 "For we walk by Faith, not by sight" ;-)

3. Less of Retail Therapy ..my wardrobe is so packed, there's no more room for more hangers. *bleah*

4. Travel ..experiment with exotic locations like Egypt, Cebu or those with UNESCO Heritage sights.

5. Pick up new sport ..maybe inline skating?.. this time with proper lessons :P

... and we'll see how it goes from here... ;-)
