Precious Honey

Didn't realize that it's So Difficult to find Active (UMF) Manuka Honey in S'pore!! :( Was hunting high and low in the supermarkets, but couldn't find. Finally found out that Nature Farm and certain outlets of Guardian pharmacy are selling this specific honey from NZ. :) They actually classify this as "health food"??!!
Do you know...?
~ Honey never spoils. No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

~ Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
~ Due to the high level of fructose, honey is 25% sweeter than table sugar.
~ Honey contains vitamins and antioxidants, but is fat free, cholesterol free and sodium free!
~ Honey is the only food that includes all the substances necessary to sustain life, including water.
~ Honey is nature's energy booster! It provides a concentrated energy source that helps prevent fatigue and can boost athletic performance.
~ Honey has the ability to attract and absorb moisture, which makes it remarkably soothing for minor burns and helps to prevent scarring.
~ Honey speeds the healing of open wounds and also combats infection.
~ Modern science now acknowledges honey as an anti-microbial agent, which means it deters the growth of certain types of bacteria, yeast and molds.
~ Honeybees are one of science's great mysteries because they have remained unchanged for 20 million years, even though the world changed around them.
~ Bees have been producing honey for at least 150 million years.

I am aware of all the goodness but never faithfully remembers to take it. How do you add honey to your schedule?

green tea + honey tastes Nice. :)
chicken wings marinated with honey smells delish too, the glaze looks more yummy :)
the honey is placed beside the sugar container. So, it serves as a visual reminder when i reach for the sugar.

Found one site with recipes using honey. (with pixs):
