It's Different from Yoga... and i prefer this to yoga. Fren and i were giggling thru' the entire Yoga intro class many years ago, and i actually fell asleep during class! :P But was hooked on pilates eversince i 1st tried it.
Pilates matwork classes can enable you to:

Have been faithfully attending the Pilates class by Collin on Sunday afternoons. :) Not bad, got improvement now... can actually do the more advanced intermmediate moves compared to the new comers who reminded me when i 1st started. :P

I have the pilates classes @ California Fitness (Orchard). Need to be a member to enter the gym. Are u a member?
If not, if u just want to try it out 1st, perhaps u can check out Amore Fitness... i think can purchase visit passes for the various classes they have at any outlet..
