Last Friday, finally had the rare opportunity to check out the new wings... as i was early for my dinner appointment. At the new building sandwiched between Novena Sq and TTSH, it's this mall called "Square2". Losta tiny shop units selling clothings and cutie accessories. Reminds you of those kooky shopping malls in Seoul and HKG. I wonder how these shop owners manage to survive the high rentals. They probably have good shoppers traffic from the church goers, and the visitors from the hospitals, i guess.
There's a korean provision shop on the 3rd level... i finally managed to find the kiddy size ChaJangMyun cup noodles!! :) No need to travel all the way to Burlington Sq @ Bencoolen or the one opposite OCBC bldg to buy korean tidbits! *phew*
Hmmm... actually, Novena/Newton area seems like a Nice neighborhood to stay... so convenient: Near so many hospitals, near Town and CBD area.

I heard the Korean restaurant at Square 2 is quite good. Novena is a good district, near good schools too. But so expensive!!
Really?? which floor?
I ended up having dinner @ one of the jap restaurants @ Goldhill Plaza...
I think it is the same floor as the korean supermart - it is broken into 2 sections by the walkway - one side serving korean bbq and the other a regular rest,
Thanx! will check it out next time i'm there. :)
