General Anesthesia The effect of the anesthesia was so fast, i was knocked out within 3 secs! The next thing i know, was hearing the anesthetist's voice calling my name and asking me to open my eyes. And hearing voices explaining to me that surgery was over and i'd be placed at the resting area in the OT before being transferred back to my room...
I'm still very amazed at how the effects of anesthesia is utilized in the field of medicine. And still wondering the morbid thot that your body is at the mercy of the surgeon, and there's nothing you can do or know what they have done coz by the time you wake up, you are already stitched up and sent back to the ward to recuperate!!
Doing Nothing
It's not everyday the Dr is so kiasu and give you 1 month Hospitalization Leave, when in reality your body is back to normal within a few days after surgery. Vegetating at home, doing nothing but watching videos on Youtube and veoh is NO GOOD. Perhaps because it's a temporary 1month break, so did not find other new hobbies. In addition, having to stay away from active sports for 1 month is taking its toll too... and i start getting imaginary 'pain' and 'aches', and getting concerned if they're side effects of the surgery and medication. *sighz* But when i went back to office for a series of concalls and meetings yesterday, those imaginary pain and aches magically disappeared!

Making Videos
Since i was Bored doing nothing, finally managed to figure out how to make a video using the "Windows Movie Maker" program. My 1st video was for YL's and CJ's trip to Melbourne with their kidz. Since i didn't get to go Melbourne with them due to the schedule of work commitment and the surgery... might as well have some fun making videos. :P

Hope you are back to your old self by now. Yeah, the effect of the anesthesia is pretty scary. I was out so fast when I next came out of it, done. No recollection of what so ever of those minutes when you are at their mercy.

Thanks, i'm fine now. :) Hosp Leave ends this thursday and gotta go back to work now.. Agree with you re: anesthesia... but at the same time, you're really greatful for the invention/discovery of this branch of medicine... else, can't imagine how the patients gonna survive when going under the surgeon's scalpel.

No lah, that "Windows Movie Maker" is really an idiot proof tool to create that video/album. YL can also do it. :)
My MC is ending liao... gotta go back to work on thurs, as it is i'm already attending courses thiese 3 days.
