Mark was in town last week with his wife (Annette). So his ex-secretary (SL) arranged a dinner at this cosy restaurant: Flutes at the Fort. : ) This is my 2nd time dining @ this restaurant. The 1st time there was a CNY lunch treat from one of the headhunters. They serve "modern australian cuisine". The Food is Excellent, and service is Good. : )They have a very unique name for the washroom:
The Music RoomInside that 'Music Room', there are 2 cubicles for the ladies on the left, and 1 cubicle for the gents on the right... and then 2 basins in the middle for washing your hands. ... Don't think this is an Aussie thingy, leh... *scratchz head*And i'm not the only one who felt weird. Suzie gave me this weird "???" look when she stepped into the 'Music Room'. When we were back at our table, she couldn't resis
t whispering to me: "为什么厕所这样怪的??". On my 2nd trip to the loo, there were 2 angmohs with puzzled looks outside the 'Music Room'. Must've thot they have walked into the wrong toilet coz there was a lady doing her makeup in the 'Music Room', until i explained that there's a cubicle for the gents inside. The 2nd guy felt awkward hanging around inside the room, and decided to wait for his turn outside.
I find it weird, coz i'm not used sharing the public toilets in such manner... even those 3rd world countries don't do that. Don't get me wrong, the 'Music Room' is kept very clean, but i guess it's the way it's designed... makes me uncomfortable.. doing my business in the loo.. and i hafta visit the 'Music Room' several times that night... too much wine and too much iced water! *bleah*
