Brilliant me, blurted that there's "No Stress" in this job... before i could stop myself.
Today, i kena 'arrowed' to help her prepare 3 papers for the presentation end for next week! *bleah*
No wonder she was beaming after hearing my reply during lunch, and smilingly told me that the pace will pick up soon.
I think the only thing that's a lil' bit stressful is the "Clean Desk" Policy. I survived pretty well, having kept my desk ultra CLEAN so far, considering my reputation. :P I was used to just shut down the notebook, and lock the door without packing the desk. No such luxury now... :/
Hmmm... should've made a bet with Dominic and Lili, and i would've won. They have so underestimated me this time. *gloat*
I get stressed when...
- the fuel indicator is pointing at "E", tho' i know and have been told repeatedly by everyone that the car can still go quite a distance before the red indicator starts blinking
- i'm driving in unfamilar part of the country, and the handphone battery is almost flat... coz i'll keep thinking what if i got lost or the car breaks down in some ulu place and i need to call for help
- i'm daydreaming in class, and the lecturer just hafta pick on me and ask me "what do you think?" .. !#@#$^&% ..
- when it's 10 min before submission deadline, and the stupid computer or server refused to work and i couldn't upload my project/paper and neither could i email it to the professor.
- staff come to my room and start crying, and i hafta offer the tissue box and try my best counselling skills and listening skills
- i hafta deliver bad news to people on things that i do not have ctrl of :(
- it's my turn to lead the biblestudy coz i always feel that i'm not knowleadgeable enough to lead. Feel more comfy with a partner like KP/Steven/Carina to lead. :P
- i have privy to high level confidential stuff and not allowed to share, and hafta act very blurr and give instructions as if i know nothing
- i hafta hold the entire conversation in business mandarin with a mainland chinese or taiwanese biz associate
